What happens after I submit an application and resume?
Alliance prefers that you stay in touch with us on a weekly basis either by phone or email. Constant communication during your job seeking process is crucial. It is pivotal that we receive updates from you on other interviews you have entertained, other job offers you may have on the table, or other if you are utilizing other recruiters to assist you.

Alliance will never send your resume without your permission. We will always call you first and make sure that you have not already applied on your own or been in contact with this company. Once we have your permission, we will do everything we can to try and get you an interview with that company. Once we have secured an interview, we will make sure you are well prepared with knowledge about the company, why the position is open, the company culture, the personality style of the person you will be interviewing with, etc. After the interview we will debrief with you, debrief with the client, and exchange information. We will then negotiate salary, benefits, everything for you.

Do I need an appointment or can I just come in and apply?
To meet with a recruiter, you must schedule an appointment. The best way to start the process is to Apply Online.

If I leave a message for a recruiter, what is the average response time?
At Alliance we try to respond to all messages within 24-48 hours. Messages are documented in our staffing software system and we do our best to schedule return calls for the times that you have indicated work well for you.

How does Alliance get the positions? Do you contact the companies or does the company contact you directly?
We secure our open positions from repeat business, company/candidate referrals, our own marketing efforts, and our professional networking groups. We take great pride in keeping our finger on the pulse of employment opportunities and matching superior talent to growing, stable companies.

What kind of companies does Alliance work with?
Our clients vary in size. Employers range from companies with just a few employees to Fortune 500 companies with thousands of employees. During your initial interview process with your Alliance Recruiter, you are able to discuss any personal preferences you may have in regards to the kinds of companies you would be interested in working with.

With the number of unemployed people available for work, why would a company pay a fee for a candidate?
By opening up their job opportunities to Alliance Search Solutions, our clients are utilizing another resource of candidates. Not all employed or unemployed candidates feel comfortable applying directly to a job posting. There are also times where an organization may not know of an opening ahead of time and may not have a pool of candidates to choose from. That is why Alliance is a crucial resource, as we are actively recruiting and screening candidates for them. Clients realize that by using Alliance Search Solutions we have already pre-screened, interviewed, and conducted the necessary background information to give them the top talent to choose from. This saves hours of time spent screening resumes and conducting phone interviews. This is an invaluable cost savings to the client. Also, they do not pay us a fee unless we find the right talent.

Will Alliance keep my search confidential?
Yes. All searches are confidential.

Will Alliance share my information with any third parties without my consent or knowledge?
No. You must always give Alliance permission to submit your information.

How quickly can you find a position for me?
Sometimes we are able to offer you a position immediately. In general, the time it takes to place you will depend on your skills, experience, your availability, and the type of position you are seeking.

Why do you need my social security number and date of birth?
All interviews and reference checking will be handled by us. This includes getting your social security number and date of birth to conduct a criminal background and/or credit check. Since the client is paying us a fee to find the right candidate, we need to make sure our due diligence is complete. As your talent agent we want to make sure your wants and needs are met as well as those of the clients.

Do you offer referral bonuses?
Yes! Alliance Search Solutions may offer a referral bonus for each qualified and placed referral you submit to us. Please contact your recruiter for specific terms and conditions.
